Inruin's Round 5 Tipping Match Up Snapshots
Raiders v Sharks
The Raiders have had a couple of tough weeks and return home to Canberra looking to get back to winning ways. The Sharks were poor at home to the understrength Dogs last week and looking to bounce back. They have a number of changes in their 17 from last week. Sharks to get the Viking clap after visiting the nations capital.
Raiders 1-12
Panthers v Cowboys
One of the worst games I have seen the Panthers play last week and still could have snuck a win. Cleary back makes a huge difference but they will need to clean up their defence having conceded an average of 29 points per game over the first four rounds. Cowboys got off the mark last week against the Raiders but still look shaky and I can’t see them getting past Penrith in this game who I think will want to try and make a statement.
Panthers 13+
Rabbitohs v Roosters
The Bunnies blew the Panthers off the park in the first half last week and welcome back Latrell in the centers. Roosters were fairly disappointing against the Titans and haven’t looked anywhere near as good as their round 2 victory over the Panthers. They get Connor Watson back though which is a big in for them. Local derby and sure to be some feeling in it.
Rabbitohs 1-12
Eels v Dragons
The poor Eels continue to struggle and remain as one of only two teams that are winless so far this season.
Dylan Walker on the bench might provide some much needed direction. The Dragons had a confidence boosting win over Premiership favourites last round and look to continue the Eels losing run. The St George bench looks very strong and also expect Gutherson to have a big game against his old club.
Dragons 1-12
Titans v Dolphins
The Titans forward pack is starting to click in to gear and finished strong last week over the Roosters. Still question marks over their halves though with their attack not looking fluent. The Dolphins have struggled to shake the ghost of Bennett past off of them but there have been some signs of life. Upset of the round and the Fins to get their first win of the season in their second Queensland derby in two weeks.
Dolphins 1-12
Broncos v Tigers
Broncos looked in control for most of the game last week in the wet against the Dolphins and this is the third week in a row of just having to roll out of bed and walk to the ground. Tigers couldn’t quite hold on against the Warriors last game. They'll be bruised and missing Luai this week. Could get ugly.
Broncos 13+
Sea Eagles v Storm
Manly too good against the Eels last round but lost Turbo for a number of weeks. Storm went down to the Dragons and face a tough assignment away to 4 Pines. No Hughes tips this slightly in favour of Manly I think but if he plays different story.... Match of the round?
Sea Eagles 1-12
Bulldogs v Knights
Dogs have continued on despite the loss of Burton and Kikau, and had a very good win against the Sharks last week away. Knights coming off the bye and have looked very shaky in a couple of games so far this season. Dogs should be far too good at home
Bulldogs 13+
