I can't actually name one example of a CB assistant who went on to succeed as a head coach. Yet they often get all the attention whenever a coaching vacancy opens up. Cleary's assistants however seem to have gone on to do alright.

Michael Maguire and Brad Arthur were assistants under Bellamy. Adam O'Brien isn't terrible.

If I'm being honest, I'm not really that impressed with the dogs. I think they are another team whose form is made to look better than they actually are due to the poor quality of their opposition. Parra are holding their own physically, they are just being incredibly sloppy and gifting the dogs too much cheap possession. If they just execute their plays a little better, they are every chance to win this. Surprised they haven't targeted Monty's suspect edge defense yet.

I'm still seething from our game against them last year where we physically bashed them pillar to post in the first half only to lose because we lost our entire backline in the second half. That loss basically ended our year.
