Can't understand why the commentators are so into the dogs - they're an unattractive team, and don't do a lot that is spectacular - they have a couple of heavyweights who throw some combinations sometimes (Crichton, Kiraz, Kikau) but it's hardly champagne footy - I dislike them so much and more for the way they're heralded as the second coming

They are a good side and they have a good chance this year to make the GF. I have always preferred watching the better defensive sides like the Bulldogs. Their fans though they are something else.

Yeah, they're a good side, no argument there (tho only now, they've earned it, weren't that flash earlier in the year) it's the hyperbole that gets me, cos they're not THAT good

It would have been good to see the Dogs defending their line a bit more. Mainly as I was watching after the first mistake when they were defending their line to get a comparison on how many six agains they'd give away. It does feel like we give away a lot and in that instance where there is a mistake and you are defending your line straight away that we'd likely have given away at least one.

Some teams probably push the limit more than others and we might be one of them.

Still it would be good to get a comparison if the other top sides are getting stung like us.

That silly penalty Flanagan gave away looked to be frustration from Mahoney being a pest on the Dragons kickers.

It looked like on of the earlier ones after kicking it Mahoney pushed the kicker over. Then just before the Flanagan penalty it looked like he tried it again but didn't fully push him over. Leading to Flanagan getting frustrated.

Good work from the pest.

Think the Dragons instead of arguing the incident should have pointed out the kick pressure to plant the seed with the ref for later.

Sydney media will always wank on about a Sydney team also plenty of ex bulldog players on Fox so that makes it worst. The NRL is still so Sydney centric and has been since I have watched the NRL.
