Big call by the Doggies to drop Sexton and start Galvin at 7. Playing two natural no. 6s in the halves didn't work out very well for Wests-Tigers and now the Doggies are doing the same. Shame the Wahs aren't coming up against Canterbury sooner as it'll take a few games for Galvin and Burton to gel. Hopefully Galvin will try to hog all the ball and stunt the Doggies attack.

Gus must be back from holiday. I could understand them doing this if they were mid table and planning for the future but they are a top 4 side. Why would you change a spine that is working so well for you? I also still do not see why he deserves the special treatment. He seems a not bad player for his age but is he really that good?

You just have to aim up physically against the Phins like the sharks did the week before. They are massively short in middle stocks right now, so that's where they are vulnerable. Control the middle against them and you can nullify whatever they can do on the edges just like we did in rd 11. We have the gameplan to beat them. No need to start worrying 2 weeks in advance.

Cows have never looked the same since we broke their 4 game winning streak at Magic Round. They looked unbelievable on attack at that pt. Hard to say exactly wtf happened since then and how much of it is TP's fault. TP's decision to tinker with his halves and get rid of Clifford probably contributed. But a lot of their woes seems to stem from the fact that they've had to debut a lot of young kids, especially in the backline, who quite frankly aren't ready for first grade. It'll probably pay off for them in the future, just not this year.

So I'd say Payten still probably has another run next year unlike AOB who is probably gone regardless of what happens on Sunday.
