I wouldn't read too much into early season form. Raiders always start fast. They did so last year as well before fading away and missing the 8. Competition really only starts as we get into the origin period.
Seems a strange reason to like someone
I always hated him coz he brushed me for an autograph when I was 12 (at a signing session no less )
Arrogant carnt.

Fair point, although I think they always looked lucky to be jagging wins last year whereas this year they actually look reasonably strong so far. But yeah, only one and a half games to go on so far so obviously not much of a sample size.
Did not think the broncos would end with a similar score to us, and agasint a radiers without there captain and on a larger feild (more room to run around em).

it's 2 games. You can't draw any conclusions. Dolphins looked premiership material this time last year and they missed the 8 completely. This Raiders team isn't that different to the same Raiders team from last year that missed the 8. I'll update my assessment of them if they are still riding high in rds 10-11.
it just goes to show that transitivity doesn't apply to the NRL. No two NRL games are the same. If you don't turn up physically, you aren't beating any team in this comp, no matter the previous standing of the teams coming into the match.
broncos and manly are similar types of teams. They are flat track bullies who have soft underbellies. They both kind of fall apart under sustained physical pressure.
Yes, the Raiders often start fast. This feels sustainable to me though. They are a pretty well-rounded team and their young speedsters have more experience under their belts.
They look like a good side.
Agree on Broncos; they can be bullied. So many guys there that are enigmatic. Terrifying when on though.
Raiders are underestimated quite a bit in this competition like us. They are a quality side that have always had one of the biggest packs in the comp but lack the attacking shape of the very top sides. Their physical game plan will take its toll eventually, as it did last year and in 2023 when they almost slipped out of the 8 altogether when they were in the 4 at one pt. I can see them in the bottom end of the 8 by seasons end.
