NRL Round Discussion NRL Round 13 2026 Discussion

Well, we'll see.

I don't think a loss here is an indicator to end the season.

I would imagine it would just mean that we would be leaning more towards Metcalf in the 7 role for finals.
Depends how big the loss is. We don't want to be smoked. But even if we win, it will be discounted as an origin impacted victory. Aussie media are already disseminating the line that this game doesn't really matter for the panthers.

I never understood what defined Benjiball either. Why hasn't anyone called our success 'Webby ball'?

Some people have called it Webby ball.

I assume it's just colloquial for describing a system.

Yeah, I see they're leaning into the origin impacted. Honestly, it's just media spin.

Yeah, a small loss is acceptable. A big loss will mean reevaluating some factors.

I call it Webster ball all the time and see others using it (I wasn't the first).

I was more interested as to what Foz has actually done to get the players going, aka Fozball.

I'm not saying he's coasting or whatever.

Like, what would any new coach do that instantly turns around a clubs season? Surely the potential was always there and this is more about Seibold losing the locker room, right?

I think it is 12 minus either way. The sides are too evenly matched. Top 2 sides in both attack and defense. We actually lead the possession, set completion stats with penrith in 3rd place for both.

It is like two identical twins preparing to fight each other for the nth time. At some pt the younger twin (us) will beat the abusive older one (penrith) who has been the bully for far too long.

Don't know why but I think we can win. Imo we have the stronger forward pack on form. If Fish > Moses and Erin> Yeo, we should have enough pts in us out wide to scrape home.

Maybe he is just the hype man. I get the feeling that his assistants are the ones with the tactical nouse. Foran is just enabling them to do what they think is right whereas Seibold was overruling them and forcing them to enact his failed plans.
