I struggle to see how far this tigers team will go with two 6’s in the team. Almost similar to what’s going on with us

Depends how we respond next week. Tigers played a fair bit of youth and held their own. Knights showed what they could be when they get it together.

I still think the Raiders played their best game against us, of course we helped them

We lost a lot of close games last year. The season would have quite different if we could have pulled off a win similar to Souths last night.

In the second half they making a lot less metres than the Dolphins. They managed to hang in there until the Dolphins made a mistake and managed to capitalise. You could even say the first game was similar the Knights weren't great and the Tigers were getting a lot of calls but they managed to win.

May not be at your best but you manage to win.

A few teams haven't looked great. Let's hope our performance looks worse due to the big occasion. It is going to be a long year anyway as even if things go well our halves will likely be up and down.

50 missed tackles for tigers and 44 for Warriors with 28 ineffective. That’s an area both teams need to do much better, is it a fitness issue? Raiders had 21 missed tackles against us. I wonder if an issue for Warriors was that we played well under strength teams in trials? Particularly the second one against storm and it hasn’t given us a better indication of where we we were at?
