Pretty decent game to start the year so far. Latrel and Trbo both looking dangerous.
Big crowd too, unless some are left over Covid cut outs (taking a note from Buzz Killington notebook here).

You just know no NBA/NFL/NHL team would ever come Down Under to play a competition game - or even a pre-season game. Or, if they did, they d bring their second-string at best players. I honestly don't see why the NRL has to actually play in the US to get a seat in US Sports Betting...It does look as though the players are turning it on big time for the occasion as such a nod to the NRL for jazzing up the comp a little - even though it has completely killed the flow of the NRLs season start with a load of bollocks for the sake of it.
Still seems like a festival for pure entertainment rather than four teams fighting for two points in the real comp.
Do you think getting the Warriors in to the NRL was for the good of NZ rugby league?Peter valandys with Yvonne on the pre game build up, so yeah it's about international exposure and growing the game, blah blah then went on about the US betting market for a few minutes.
Not even trying to hide it
He is easy to hate but when he is on he is a very good player.Latrell is looking a class ahead of turbo so far
Been a pretty good game so far. Bit both ways for the two teams.Just tuned in with a coupla cold ones,

Awesome looks packed from certain camera anglesBeen a pretty good game so far. Bit both ways for the two teams.
Decent sized crowd. Upper deck is empty but it's a great stadium for that so it still looks relatively full on tv despite not being a sell outAwesome looks packed from certain camera angles
