It has been that way in the NRL since forever. A frustrating reality.

The Dugan/Ferguson dummy spit when they drank cruisers on the roof instead of going to training still gets me today. They got what they wanted and a pay rise whilst the club they should have been loyal to copped it. It's maddening.

Like players who bail on their bottom eight team mates to play finals football in the same season.

I remember when they came out and said some of the information being reported was incorrect. They were Bacardi Breezers.

We're two weeks into November, and aside from a few resignings by clubs there's been very little movement for 2026 so far.

May and the Fox? Ones been in trouble for coke and the other doesn't feel like playing sometimes. Not quite the players were looking for

There's never a rush of signings after Nov 1 - literally never.

May and Fox were canned from their current teams and would have zero interest in coming here. Fox left Melbourne to be in Sydney, why in the world would he suddenly go "I'm moving to the far southern suburb of Sydney called NZ"?

May wouldn't leave Australia and plus he has obviously got some major off field issues for Roosters to release him.
JAC would be another RTS signing except with a coke habbit and wouldn't leave Sydney anyway

You're in luck! Tohu will be back on board, along with Metcalf and with TMM at half for the year too, were already looking much stronger than we did this year!

Add in a few upgrades like Clark for Jazz, and our juniors coming along nicely it's hard to see anything other than a maiden premiership next year.

If TMM and Metcalf are 7 and 6, and can stay on the field for a good run of games ie most of the season I think we will finish top 4

The other interesting play is St George Illawarra having a serious look at signing South Sydney halfback Lachlan Ilias.
New Dragons hooker Damien Cook is a fan of Ilias from his time at the Rabbitohs and the Red V have even gone as far as doing a medical check on the Bunnies playmaker.
Nothing’s going to happen in the immediate future but don’t be surprised if St George Illawarra decide to also add Ilias to new recruits Cook, Clint Gutherson and Valentine Holmes.
