Not gonna judge the raiders to hard. They seem to be in full rebuild after discovering last year that although they were number 1 on the ladder. They just diden't have that X/Clutch factor to bring them deep into finals.
Very green number 7 who will grow into the role but it does take a good amount of NRL games to get good *cough* Boyd *cough* Foggerty *cough*. Building a brand new spine filled with young fellas. Introducing some younger guys into the pack although not enough IMO. They just need to drop horse.

They can't afford to drop horse after Young and Martin etc are out.
Tigers going great so far but we'll see if they can maintain the good form at the business end of the season. I'd like us to play them again this season, do we? I reckon we'd beat them this time around. We are still the better team overall.
With all the Raiders out for this game, would not have been a great look for the Tigers to drop 2 straight against 2 heavily depleted teams. They did what needed to be done without doing anything special. Tigers will make waves this year but I think this game says a lot more about how much the Raiders have regressed. Tamale needs more time in cup and anyone still thinking that bringing Timoko over here is a good idea should watch his D from this game. He is actually a downgrade from Pompey imo. Not to mention Ricky's dumbass selections for this game. Makes Ciraldo look like a genius in comparison.
they are missing Fogarty. His deep kicking was worth at least 10 extra metres per set and young Sanders doesn't have the same boot. On top of that, their forward pack has regressed so much. Before this season started, I had them as the best pack in the comp. But I think we are comfortably better than them now in that department. Losing Trey Mooney and having Papalii out every 2nd week due to suspension/injury has massively exposed the fact that their forward depth is not NRL standard. Tapine is the only intimidating force left in that pack.
