Current Local Perth RL Teams (NRL WA)
These clubs form the base of rugby league in the Perth area and surrounding regions:

• South Perth Lions: A historic and prominent club in WA.
• Joondalup Giants: Based in the northern suburbs.
• North Beach Sea Eagles: Another long-standing club in the metro area.
• Ellenbrook Rabbitohs: A newer club in the north-east.
• Fremantle Roosters: A foundation club from the port city.
• Kwinana Titans: A relatively new addition.
• Alkimos Tigers: Another northern suburbs team.
• Willagee Bears: Serving the southern suburbs.
• Rockingham Coastal Sharks: A coastal team south of the city.

Those clubs aren't producing nrl players scouts aren’t going over to perth to look for talent.
There are rugby league clubs in the US but id bet that setting up an nrl team there wouldn’t magically make americans pop up in the nrl.

Yeah the grassroots is there, least there's something to start with.
Good on you for believing in magic and wanting to bet a wager, what are the odds? Is there a timeframe for this bet?

Sounds like a stupid exhibition game for retired players to me. I guess rugby writers need something to pen about in January. The League players would suck in the Rugby aspect, and union players will suck in the League. The viewers would be confused.

Not sure if Burgess is insinuating current or past All Blacks could be wooed? Money is the obvious driver, when you consider the salaries of American sportsmen in popular sports or European football, these guys aren’t that well paid for what they put their bodies through whether it be rugby or league. Rugby can get some decent salaries in European or Japanese competitions but down this end of the world not as much. As to the product, I’m not sure how it would look and hard to see it getting off the ground? There was talk a few years ago of an exhibition match between All Blacks and Aussie league team, but it doesn’t make sense how the format would work?
