One of Brailey/Starling seems surplus to requirements - albeit both signed through to 2027 - if you have a 2026/2027 spine of Pattie (will continue at 14 in 2026 you'd think with Brailey, or perhaps Starling, starting), Strange, Black, WeekesIf he lives up to they hype and strange stays on track the raider may have the makings of a dynasty spine especially if weeks keeps getting better they also just got brailey right?
Yeah I see Starling getting squeezed out or depth at this point brailey is a better player and person especially with such a young group thereOne of Brailey/Starling seems surplus to requirements - albeit both signed through to 2027 - if you have a 2026/2027 spine of Pattie (will continue at 14 in 2026 you'd think with Brailey, or perhaps Starling, starting), Strange, Black, Weekes
Bit of noise Koloamatangi may be off to roosters
Sounding like eels are a decent chance too? But certainly sounding like he may not stay at souths? All speculationIf that's for Whytes compassionate release home then I'm very happy about this
Can nz rugby send a letter to Kansas City then!If they call them the Chiefs they'll get a letter from NZ Rugby.
The players and their management you would expect would have more details on R360 and how it would work. From what the media are reporting there is a lot of unknowns.
There was talk of broadcasting on YouTube.
Also $15 million per team. A rugby union side and squad typically has more players than a league squad. That amount would need to be spread across a lot of players. The figure is also close to the speculated NRL cap for the new broadcast deal.
The players are meant to be centrally contracted and go into a pool. It will be interesting how they do their $15 million per team from there.
All of the players so far would be getting signed for more than they are on now. You'd expect there would be players who aren't stars or on a lower amount to fill out the squads.
The travelling competition sounds interesting. Can see it being a novelty and drawing some crowds initially. Can also see it played in front of empty stadiums.
Think it will end up being similar to the USFL or XFL when new leagues have tried to compete with the NFL. One thing the NRL and the union competitions have going for them. They are established. A known entity for broadcasters and sponsors.
Reports are R360 has offered Kyle Flanagan a multi million dollar deal to stay in the NRL.
Gold!!!

He pretty much explains how they rort the salary cap at Brisbane HQ.“There is a wonderful opportunity for him to have a long association with the Brisbane Broncos past his playing career as well,” Morris said.
“He has the chance to be an all-time great at the Broncos. That will bring with it some long-term opportunities for Payne at the club.”
