Honestly, I don't think Munster would strive in a struggling team. He's a great player no doubt, but he goes missing in the big moments often, and doesn't have the skillset to be more than a supporting X factor half. He's like a better version of Luai, great 6, but do you really want to pay $1m + for a supporting half? I wouldn't. I don't think the Storm will either, with Wishart and Pezet there. But the Knights have paid up with Brown, Tigers have with Luai.
I think he's going to take the money and longer contract to go to Perth. And I hope he does, he brings some star power off the park which is important for a new team, and is what the Dolphins missed in their first couple years. Thankfully their long term investment in Katoa is starting to bare fruit.
Can't wait to see who the Bears pick up.
Tanah Boyd looks like a no brainer, would be a great 3rd choice half or an OK 7 alongside Munster if they fail to sign a better player.
Taine could be on the radar? Herbie Farnworth would be an amazing pick up to play FB (I would go for him over Munster), Turbo would be a great centre option if he is pissed at Manly. Damien Cook for a year or 2 would be worth it IMO.
