International New Zealand Kiwis

I would love NZ origin. The problem is when do you play it. During same time as origin now wouldn't work unless they changed when they played origin and every team has the bye at the same time.

Otherwise it's a one off game at end of season. Something of a trial for kiwis.

The Dolphins are also stacked with inform Kiwis, who would easily make the test side and the Broncs.
Before getting hurt Kodi was 🔥.
Isaako/JMK consistently going well.
Max Feagai is warming to first grade and showing his potential.
Finefuiaki going under the radar but proving more than an attacker.
Aublix Tawha is a rookie(and my nephew).
Ceiling is high for him,he be working hard to stay in the 17.

Nice bro. Doing your whanau proud.
NRL profile lists him as a Centre. Does he legit play there as well as Prop or is a typo? No date of birth either. How old is he?

Done himself and his parent's proud brother.
Thank you.
Yes,played age group as a center/Wing.
His 2nd row prop transition started two years ago after returning from the Netherlands(His mother's from there.)
Not sure if he is 26 yet, just know he and my son turn that age this year.

Aublix and AJ (his brother) both worked under me both directly and indirectly for a time. (Their aunt worked for an agency and sent them out our way for quite a long time, cause we paid the most lol).

Those boys weren’t afraid of a bit of mahi (especially his brother). I was absolutely stoked when Aubi made his debut for the Dolphins. (I actually played prem rugby against him years back)

He’s a good lad and if the Warriors forward stocks weren’t so good, I sign him up tomorrow were it up to me. (Cheeky burger too. lol)

New NRL star reveals England Ashes ambitions after name change confirmed

Aaron Bowe

Kayal Iro

KL Iro has revealed he would be open to playing for England..

The son of a Super League icon who has frequently been linked with a move to the competition himself has declared his interest in representing England in this year’s Ashes.

Cronulla Sharks centre KL Iro recently confirmed he no longer wanted to be referred to as Kayal, instead going by KL to honour his father, Kevin Iro – who starred in Super League for St Helens.

KL was born in England while his father was representing the Saints, automatically opening the door for a possible international call-up for Shaun Wane’s side for this year’s Ashes series.

And Iro told the Sydney Morning Herald that it would be ‘pretty cool’ to pull on an England shirt and play against the Kangaroos this autumn.

“Yeah, for sure. I’m not sure if I’m eligible. I’m not sure how it works,” Iro said. “But, yeah, I wouldn’t say no. I would never say no to that. I think it’s pretty cool if you could do that.”

Iro is the latest NRL player to put his hand up for England. Gold Coast Titans star AJ Brimson has also declared his interest in representing his family’s English heritage. Canterbury star Max King is another who is in the reckoning.

Sydney Roosters half-back Sam Walker was born in England like Iro, and would also be eligible to feature in this year’s Ashes.

However, Iro revealed his main priority is ensuring that the Cook Islands are represented in next year’s World Cup in Australia. Iro has already represented the nation on eight occasions and the centre admitted it his long-term goal to ultimately retire there.

“I wouldn’t say no but my first thing is getting the Cook Islands qualified for the World Cup next year,” he said. “After my career I want to move back there, relax, and live off the land.”

Awesome brother,

He would turn our for MLV then manage to get enough games for Turangawaewae to play finals footy.

His dad Arama and I are 1sts.

How many years have we suffered and lost key players.... now I am used to it. Really the Kiwis are the worse off of all nations, Poms have their own comp and poly teams can play SOO and for pacific nations, while Kiwis left out in the cold. I am glad its happening but I also respect those who sacrificed SOO to play for the Kiwis!
absolutely, definitely only want players who want and are willing to die for the jersey, bit sad that we (warriors) are becoming a training ground for other nations teams, more than likely (90%) of the poly boys will be representing their heritage and bypass a kiwi jersey, so what was the use of bringing them through the grades then for them to play for another nation??, the whole point of having a team in the nrl was to harden up players to be able to compete with the ozzy players in test matches, I remember the kangaroos were always more above the kiwis in all areas of the game (as evidenced by the awesome Wally Lewis), we only won test matches through sheer guts and stubbornness which was only a few times. I would rather focus on players whose end goal is the black jersey, however I am so torn, love of club and love of Country!!! - Country wins by a country mile ("he he" scuse the pun), as one poddy said "don't care about SOO". go the mighty warriors!! Kiwis 4va!

I played against him when he was playing for TWW a couple times. For as skinny and young as he was at the time, he was still pretty much bumping off the 1st tackler every time.

Mind blown that he's gone from skinny outside back to playing as a prop in the NRL against guys like AFB and holding his own despite being much smaller.

If you look at the final few minutes, Tonga were really lucky, should have been penalised.
But they were penalised, and Isaako missed what should've been a sitter. Was I at a different game?!

For what it's worth I think the Kiwis urgently need to get some stability in the spine, and preferably find a 6 to compliment Hughes who can kick a goal.
