its textbook ACL. put the hope in for the next man mentality somehow being able to continue our trajectory to finals footy

JFH + Marata will be our two starting props
Ford + Vaimauga forward rotation
Leka + Laban in that 2nd row spot
Bunty can kick rocks has a good 15 in him then misses tackles (raiders game perfect example)

re: Mitch

- his right knee collapses inward under his own body weight with no contact
- his foot is firmly planted while his upper body rotates, driving torque through the knee... the exact rotational load that overloads the ACL.
- his knee is partially flexed where the ACL is under maximum strain during change of direction or collapse.

the fact he walked off means nothing, RTS played on from memory when he did his... if its a miracle at best a grade 2 which would mean ready for finals

but again, it's textbook ACL

sucks 😣
Can you do my hip replacement?

Geez what a big loss.
Huge.

We have 4 players crucial to our finals campaign that we would have wanted to be fit until a hypothetical GF.

- Barnett
- Egan
- Erin
- Metcalf (albeit just his moments of brilliance, not consistency)

We just lost one.

JFH will now have to take it upon himself to play more mins, and step up because let's be real, apart from culture change which I'm sure he's instilled, impact on the field isn't reflecting.

I have nothing to say other than my emotions that this is a big blow for any aspirations we had of a premiership this year.

Wonder what TLT looks like tomorrow?

I think it's the most logical next man in mentality / change without disruption. We need to make this the team we would see for finals campaign.

Next man up @Wrighty. It’s a big blow but not a death sentence!
Next man up won't cut it against other top 4 teams like the Raiders as we saw when both Fish and Barnett were missing. I think we can still beat teams like Rabbits that are lower end of the top 8 without Barnett but not the top tier teams like Dogs etc. If I were the Warriors think tank I would be on the phone for the next two weeks to see if I can bring in a rental first grade quality prop for the rest of the season as some of us were discussing in the recruitment thread.
Because if we go next man up as our solution to this and another prop goes down even that is Bunty it really leaves us way to thin. We could get through with next man up if the injury gods left us intact from further harm for the rest of the year but that won't happen knowing the frequency of injuries in the NRL. We only have 28 spots filled in our 30. Let's get a rental.
