Was IMO correctly mentioned earlier that our halves combo is much the same dynamic as the Storm halves style.
Great back up with TMM and Boyd and the only combo of the four that I wouldn’t fancy so much is CHT and Boyd.
I think they should pay TMM a decent enough salary to keep him as first cab off the rank.

Maybe not, but not all that much less, perhaps. The top salary currently is Ponga at $1.4m. Cleary is on $1.3m. Munster, Moses, Luai and DCE are all on $1.2m. Granted he’s not at their level, but. If a player is making the difference between games being lost and games being won, how much is he worth to the side?

Start of the season everyone agreed we had the cheapest most inexperienced and worst half paring in the comp…. now they’re right up there with Munster and Hughes????

So if the Tigers, Bulldogs, Dragons maybe even Sharks or Roosters offer 850k. AND he gets to go home and raise his child around family and friends.

Yep. This is the reality. ***IF he keeps this form up*** he will become a hot commodity, teams will happily throw good money at him and we probably have a real hard time trying to convince him to stay unless we threw the absolute bag at him - and even then it might not be enough... Lets not forget Todd Carney famously turning down a mill from the Warriors, back when a mill probably made you the highest paid player in the game.

Would be such a d*** if turning down a good extension offer knowing the club took care of him for 2 injury prone years, spent huge money to do prevention rehab in America and dump a local veteran to Cup to give you the keys while the coach held the fan/media pressure.

I think he'll stay if we match other offers, haven't heard anything about him and wife being a d*** lol
