Pretty sure some posters are hoping Dallin breaks his hand in the trials again, but there’s always some bad apples.
I know you are joking, but I really hope that's not even remotely true. As much as we love to bash DWZ for his shortcomings and brain-dead plays, that man puts his body on the line every run. They do what not even 1% of the population have the balls to do. He's had his time and the finger should be pointed at the management for even being in a situation where we have to go with DWZ as a starter.

Rather than the management, I don’t think we had troops to displace him? Kosi looked as if he could handle a few games but anything longer was potential for another confidence depleting performance. Someone like Kali can’t stay healthy and I’m really not sure how far off he is? I think it was as much of letting him return from injury, and then back him that his form comes out the other side? We’ve recruited a couple that might get the opportunity if form doesn’t change

I agree with your take but ultimately not having troops to displace him is down to poor roster management. So is extending him for 2 years before the start of the 2025 season.

I don't think we could do worse putting anyone else on that wing.

I'm hoping the new recruits will hit the ground running and give DWZ some serious competition.

I hope he comes back with his speed still intact and its not SJ post 2014 like.

It really is his point of difference.
His Mrs had him cover with head start and he seemed a bit salty on it. Poor guy will probably leave the club if they try and send him back to America for training with that shitshow over there

Don’t we hope that all our players have an injury free season
I get what you are saying. He likely thinks that as well.

There is nothing wrong with someone hoping a key player or someone in a key position who has had a bad run with injuries can stay injury free or their luck changes. You hear it from the journalists, coaches etc all of the time about specific players.

It was only a few months ago prior to Metcalf re-signing with us people who worrying about how long he can stay on the field and that it could affect his contract. Again similar thinking. He has had a bad run with injuries it would be great to see him play out a full season.
