I don't understand this take that's been floating around.

Why should he have been rested?

He had a cork and recovered from it. Was moving freely, not hampered.
Yeah it doesn't work that way eh, you can't give dudes days off in case they get hurt in a contact sport.

When you start cotton wooling blokes it messes with their psychological make up, makes em skittish about contact.

Absolutely gutted for him, some players just have the worst luck injuries wise. Feel for him and the likes of Benry/Roache.

I think hes two ACLs, chronic hamstring issues, and a broken leg now. Must take some absolute ticker to keep fighting back from all of that, the mental demons would be on another level.

Can only imagine how rapid he must have been before all of that started plaguing him.

Hopefully his little one can bring a bit of joy to him well he rehabs. Probably no better than Barnett to be there with him day to day on the journey.

That actually has nothing to do with what he's talking about.

A minor injury such as a corked thigh can change the way you move naturally (creating tension on ligaments that aren't used to it) and it also changes the level of support the ACL receives from surrounding muscles (like the quads)

Tyrese Haliburton would've heard it from every single doctor he talked to. If you play through this calf strain, the chances of tearing your Achilles are high. Guess what happened....

Tbf we don't know enough to say he had fully recovered from it. Corked thighs can usually be played through without making it worse
