Top 8 looks accurate but the order could be anything, our draw could be tougher if we get Storm, Panthers and broncs twice.

Dolphins look decent with Farmworth and Fledger. If they can steal a decent halfback eg Ben Hunt, I would put in the running for top8

As most know 2 or 3 teams usually replace top 8 teams the following finals series, I think Knights, Sharks & Raiders drop out, Rabbits should bounce back barring injuries & suspensions + Wighton joining them, Panthers are a very good chance of taking a 4th premiership in a row but Crichton & Leniu will be big losses, Warriors i think the addition of RTS & CHT will only make us better going forward, Storm I always leave them out of the 8 and they somehow just manage to blow me away every year can't fault them so I'll put them in the 8 this year haha, If Roosters play the way they did at the back end of this season they'll definitely make finals. I think Broncos will struggle next year they don't have much centre depth which will test them, Flegler & Palasia are also hefty losses in the front row department they'll still make finals tho, Bulldogs are a smoky to make finals I know I know sounds ridiculous but they have some good solid signings in Crichton, Salmon, Taafe & Xerri, I think Manly will be there abouts, Brooks should compliment DCE just fine

The addition of him surely condemns the team to finish lower than the year before based on history…

I suppose it all depends how early in the season he has his annual mid season hissy fit and walks out

I am a firm believer in re-form

I guess we wait and see what shape hes in during pre-season. That will tell you lot about his mental state.

Really looking forward to the DCE - Brooks combo although I'm not convinced its a good one.

DCE works best with a half that can straighten the attack and can take contact - like his old mate Foran or like what Cogger did for the Panthers. Brooks is not that guy.

Worth a go to see how far off I am at the end of next season, which will probably be way off as I thought for 2023 the Sharks would be minor premiers with Nicho Hynes leading the charge into the finals. I reckon with Stephen Chrichton leaving he's such a vital part of the Panthers lineup that they will lose a little bit of their Lustre and not end up in the top 2. Surely they won't be sitting there for a fifth season in a row.

waaay too early for this - but I'd be disappointed if we're not top 4 again - a year to bed in the coaching regime plus an improved squad - we'd have to be up there

We were blessed with a very easy draw, I don't think we will be top 4 again. But hey look how wrong I was last season

It was easy mate. A lot of other teams had to play Panthers, Storm, Broncos twice during the season. We played them once each and lost all three.
