We are really starting to see why Webby moved heaven and earth to bring Capes here.
Looking back, there are certainly reasons why he might have needed time to adjust and have a quiet first year. Having his contract sorted over the 2024 off season and not having a full 2024 pre-season with the boys. But now that he's gotten his bearings straight, it's evident that the man has the championship qualities that we've been missing all these years.
Capes, JFH and Barney is an amazing leadership group that the new generation of young forwards can look up to.

I can see him sticking around for at least a one year extension. No doubt he sees the potential for a premiership window soon even if we don't win it this year. He has a habit of being around premiership ready sides (Cronulla in 2016, Penrith 2020-2021 and Broncos 23).
I was so proud of Capes! And I had Cotter just a smidge ahead of him as MOTM. He's really stepped up this year. Hella aggressive. He also looks bigger this year? Are we feeding him boil up, Supa Sui & Taro at wahs headquarters? Lol.

Dumb cross eyed red haired Ned Kelly inbreds watched the Yanks in the world series and decided that was the best way colonize the sport. So yeah I not give a flying fk about it because it is all shit.
I watched that game, what a joke, dropped ball city, clunky mania, piss poor defence, the Kiwis or Tonga or Samoa at their peak would wipe both sides.
That said....I thought our Kurt played well, I love his defence in a team that leaked twenty points....against apparently the other best team in the world that leaked twenty six points.
That was like watching an ESL game, 'our turn' 'your turn'.

I reckon the Nrl also has suffocated the international game. Such a good franchise product but it's destroyed the growth of League in other countries.
At least Nz is doing well with the resurgence of the Warriors but the international game has to be nutured i agree.
