he gets a lot of hate sometimes from this forum, but he's been really valuable for us on the left edge. Not a coincidence that the defense has stiffened up since then. He may not be a spring chicken but he still value to give to the game, both us and the maroons. Wish him luck (but not too much) in origin III.
I think he has shown since moving to the left his value. Coincidentally, much of the chirping about him has died down.
Playing injury free too must help - he's had a few needles this year.
I'd be resting both Barny and Capewell in Canberra.
I wouldn't. We can't afford to lose.I think he has shown since moving to the left his value. Coincidentally, much of the chirping about him has died down.

According to Kevin Walter's podcast, the mail is that Capes will start in the second row for game II.
NRL 360 giving Capewah a bit of shade about his defensive capabilities. Same stick about leading the missed tackle count. Caryannis saying that he missed all his tackles playing out of position getting shown up by quality centres. I wish they would watch more of our games because if they did, they'd know he's done a job on some of the best centres in the game, including Valentine Holmes, the starting centre for the maroons. His big hit on Walsh is also the reason that he's been out with an MCL in the first place. Capewah won't let anyone down.
to quote webby, I hope he is MOM for the losing side.Oh dear is that why Blair and Goran’s podcast thumbnail is about defending Cape re the mistackles? Our forum has gone past that like a month ago while these aussie “journalists” who are suppose to be watching every game
I hope Cape goes out and smashes both centres to win MOM
I don't think they really gave him a bit of shade. They raised a legitimate stat, then all of the panelists agreed that the stat was misleading. 360 isn't a puff-piece show like the Matty Johns one on Sunday night or club-endorsed social media, or every Warriors pre-game/half-time/post-game chat from Laura, Richie, and Honey. They have proper journos on there alongside ex-players and they expose stuff then debate it.NRL 360 giving Capewah a bit of shade about his defensive capabilities. Don't agree that 360 is objective journalism at work. All they do is raise innuendo and make provocative statements, often without any evidence. There are clearly agendas being driven on that show by certain panelists. Buzz in particular is case in point. He just uses it as a forum to wage personal wars against people/clubs he doesn't like. Brent Read also goes on there quite a bit defending Isaac Moses and the role of player managers.I don't think they really gave him a bit of shade. Which is why I like that we're rarely mentioned on it.
