Not to pump up the banana skin topic again. But I think it is clear from yesterday that every non-top four side, whether that be parra, Newcastle, tigers or dragons, are going to aim up and play the game of their lives against top four teams in the final run home. Not just because their seasons are on the line, but also as a point of pride to prove to their fans that they can match it with the top sides.

So if any of the top 4 slouch off like Melbourne did last night for extended periods, massive boilovers aren't out of the question. It's also not just Melbourne: Canberra were unbelievably lucky yesterday that 20 minutes of good footy was good enough to beat 60 minutes of Parra's best footy all year. They've also been quite bad since their first bye, having also almost gotten beat by the tigers, dragons and Newcastle in their previous outings. Dogs were very lucky against both cows and dragons and should have in all honesty lost both games.

We need to learn from this complacency of other top 4 sides. If we get it in our heads that we are just going to pick up 2 pts every week until the end of the season because of our soft run, we are going to get embarrassed by someone in the bottom 4. Whether that be the Tits whose speed has always troubled us or the Dragons and Eels whose offloading game has caused problems for the other top 4 teams. Gotta be willing to roll up the sleeves every week for the next 2 months.

We can't let the hard work of the first half of the season get undone by sloppiness now. I'm sure Webby is all over it and JFH is drilling it in to the team. This team hasn't done anything yet.

Do we know who's in and out of the poo team yet?

Speaking of which once played rugby with a dude who was suffering with the Delhi belly, he was out in the centres and a giant Tongan on the opposition came off his wing and Matai'd him.....he literally shat himself!.....not only was he in agony probably with a couple of broken ribs, but he was lying in his own shit!......poor dude.....funny as fuck tho

With the knights and their gastro issue, this won’t be close as long as our forwards turn up to play.

Knights might hang in for 50 minutes but too many of them will fade in the last 30 - you can’t recover than quick from the shits and play NRL at full noise..

If we show up, Wahs by 40.
If we relax, Wahs by 12.

We need to be dominant today and rack up a score. Could be crucial against Dogs in top 4 if points diff come into play.

Ideally a 40+ win.

I want to see us be utterly ruthless today and destroy them.

The good news is that we have the right game model for playing a team that is physically washed out and psychologically in that post illness self doubt.

We have high completions, so they will have to do their share of work for eighty minutes.

We kick chase and pin.

Boyd only bolsters that type of game with his predictable stable platform.

Ideally, the Warriors increase their line speed and focus on strangling the Knights down their end.

With Boyd it would be nice to see some in goal grubbers to make the Knights work extra hard.

We do not need to chase points and try to win through attack. Just play our game, which is defensive, we are the second most boring arse side in the NRL after the Dogs.

I wouldn't even try to drive hard for post contact meters, I would get our forwards playing for their fronts, surrendering, getting up fast, upping the tempo of the ruck rather than trying to bash our way through.

That higher speed play the ball will see the Knights concede ruck infringements and up our six agains.

PLay to the illness. Take them into a dark place, give Marathon Stadium a whole new meaning.
