Who did they play?28-20 Fulltime score
Played knights, I only caught the ending so not sure who stood out etcWho did they play?
Knights must have scored right on full timePlayed knights, I only caught the ending so not sure who stood out etc
Yeah, they went short kickoff after our last try, we knocked it on and they ran a pretty slick try in. There was only time for another kickoff which was kicked dead on the bounce from Thompson to end the game.Knights must have scored right on full time
Haami Loza? See panthers have picked him up, might be gone. Playing nsw cup upon looking furtherLots of kiwi boys in that Knights side, Te Kaio Cranwell was impressive as always.
Who would you have kept? It’s tricky because they can only sign x amount. For example Alvin, has 5-6 back rowers ahead of him, and they’re all under 22 years old. Despite the talent, he’s quite low in the pecking order.Departures from our Flegg squad this year that I know of:
Alvin Chong-Nee (Bulldogs)
Jackson Kite (Sharks)
Augustino Filipo (Broncos)
James Marriott (Wests Tigers)
Kalani Peyroux-Donaldson (Sea Eagles)
Tallan Egan (Knights)
Harry Durbin (Brisbane Tigers)
Patrick Moimoi (Panthers)
Francis Tuimauga (Sea Eagles, mid-season)
Compton Purcell (Panthers, mid-season)
A few good players going elsewhere
Bit of turnover there, weren’t ones like Filipo only given deals in the last few months?Departures from our Flegg squad this year that I know of:

Biting an opposition player & subsequently getting banned for a month was a real shoot yourself in the foot moment tooMoimoi would’ve been good to keep too but injuries have held him back
I'm not too high on Chong-Nee, but strange one to give him NSW cup debut then let him go while still eligible for Flegg this year.Departures from our Flegg squad this year that I know of:

Its also about development.Who would you have kept? It’s tricky because they can only sign x amount. For example Alvin, has 5-6 back rowers ahead of him, and they’re all under 22 years old. Despite the talent, he’s quite low in the pecking order.
Neither, no one there I'm gutted about losing.Don’t forget you got to fit in the young pups winning Mats 2 years running! There is nobody there I’m sad to lose given the depth we possess.
Filipo's been on the outer for a whileBit of turnover there, weren’t ones like Filipo only given deals in the last few months?
Yep Moimoi the one I’m most gutted with, high ceiling. Compton was handy tooNeither, no one there I'm gutted about losing.
In fact no one in there I think will turn into above average first graders, apart from maybe Moimoi, and even then I think we have more talented outside back options in the year or two below him.
Compton was another one with St Paul's privilege i thought.Yep Moimoi the one I’m most gutted with, high ceiling. Compton was handy too
