Played knights, I only caught the ending so not sure who stood out etc
Knights must have scored right on full time
Yeah, they went short kickoff after our last try, we knocked it on and they ran a pretty slick try in. There was only time for another kickoff which was kicked dead on the bounce from Thompson to end the game.

Who would you have kept? It’s tricky because they can only sign x amount. For example Alvin, has 5-6 back rowers ahead of him, and they’re all under 22 years old. Despite the talent, he’s quite low in the pecking order.
Moimoi would’ve been good to keep too but injuries have held him back
Bit of turnover there, weren’t ones like Filipo only given deals in the last few months?

Biting an opposition player & subsequently getting banned for a month was a real shoot yourself in the foot moment too
I'm not too high on Chong-Nee, but strange one to give him NSW cup debut then let him go while still eligible for Flegg this year.
Augustino Filipo really fell off. He was doing some first grade preseason as an 18 year old
The insta vid shows Kahu Capper, Jacob Auloa, Dezman Laban, Braelan Marsh in the team photos this year.
Also some dude with long hair I can't ID but he looks very similar Sefanaia Cowley-Lupo who I thought was too old now.
Its also about development.
Is he a better player than Dezman Laban right now? Probably
Will he be a better player in 2 years time? Very unlikely

Don’t forget you got to fit in the young pups winning Mats 2 years running! There is nobody there I’m sad to lose given the depth we possess.
Neither, no one there I'm gutted about losing.
In fact no one in there I think will turn into above average first graders, apart from maybe Moimoi, and even then I think we have more talented outside back options in the year or two below him.
Filipo's been on the outer for a while
Came back from injury this year and went straight to Fox. No games in Flegg.
Always been overrated imo. Was given the mythical ball-playing lock tag early on, but his runs and defence are pretty poor and lack any punch at all.

Yep Moimoi the one I’m most gutted with, high ceiling. Compton was handy too
Compton was another one with St Paul's privilege i thought.
May be become a first grader with Penrith, but i remember thinking he was pretty limited with us.
Tried hard in SG ball. The effort was there. And he has some decent pace on him.
