Looked at their juniors, a stack of players are from the Hunter. Knights seem to be losing a lot of quality juniors.
They are so MIA at marker and again poor 6 tackle option from the halves, they have played a part in this poor first half
Storm score on the hooter, albeit a 3 metre forward pass… TJ better channel his inner Winston Churchill at halftime, fuck not even the great man could turn this insipid performance around.

Bishop Neal and a few others have been training with first grade and Cup — there must be some eligibility rule preventing them from playing Flegg.
That said, the lack of defensive effort from the forwards — especially around the ruck and in the wrestle — is a concern.
The defensive side with Putoko and Norris isn’t up to scratch. Needs a lot of work.

I like what he tried to do there, set up a long range Try. Unlucky in lots of ways, the ole brain was a step ahead of the hands.
We can all see the gap between NZ and Aus in this one, especially the Storm system. The Storm space their line well, they talk, they use passing to win games.
Their fitness is better too.
Hard watching, I can't blame our kids for their arrested development in our country.
The Warriors need to try to lure Andrew Auimatagi in to coach Flegg. That would cost them a lot of money, convincing an Assistant School Principle of St Thomas's to move to Auckland and give up a stable high paying education position at an elite school, but watching this, you can see the Warriors need to throw millions of dollars at the problems because in any kind of farming the big money needs to go into buying the right infrastructure.
Auimatagi built that National champions side from nothing and they defend man....as good as this lot beating us up today.

I don’t think it’s that dire… a lot of kids from Matts should improve SG Ball and this side next season. Over 7-8 forwards that would have been eligible for this side are playing up in grade and zero to non outside backs.
I’ve not seen this hooker today and he is a weak link around the ruck, looks like he is playing his first game of the season.
Finally a decent bomb on tackle 5 and the highly rated Sikuvea scores form the scraps, pushing away from 2 defenders. 32-12.
Man this ref must of flown over on the Storms charter… forward passes allowed for the visiting team
