Ok. Shame there was a reluctance here to play hooker? Was it on his part or the clubs? Perhaps front row became a necessity to fill? But lock/hooker seemed like a good fit like Brandon Smith at storm. Was bench play of the year in 2018

He is playing better than any of them. Hasn't missed a game all season and I haven't seen him miss a tackle. His link role with the halves and willingness to take the ball up is note-worthy. He played his 150th NRL game last night and was in everything. I, for one, regret us letting him go as is his coach says he is very happy they signed him up. There is life in the old dog yet.
He's missed a few. But he's definitely playing well in general. I think his fitness is lacking a bit but he's definitely adding something to that team.

Close call but need there be a choice? Both could complement us off the bench. The loss of Dylan Walker showed that up but that was not forseen.

Problem is though, that Jazz like so many needed a break from the Warriors.
He is actually flying at Manly, having a 2023 type season and fast becoming a fan favorite there, I am so happy for him and the Manly fans that they got good Jazz coz good Jazz is an awesome player.
Crazy how legit he looks at dummy half thanks to leaving the Warriors.
Thing is, when he was here he was the first to admit he was not a hooker.
And that right there is the problem, self full filling prophecy.
He is a Hooker as much as Luke Metcalf is a number 7 eh bro.

He's still not a hooker.. at least not a good one. Even DCE joked about the passes to his ankles to SJ
Similar commentary gets leveled at Metcalf until recently.
You don't go from dabbling at dummy half to a hooker in 13 rounds.
Jazz has a coach that wants him to be a long in the tooth apprentice in the position. He will get better with time now that he is not being mucked around as a half arsed hooker/more importantly he knows it is time to believe or get dropped from the NRL, powerful motivator that.
He won't be playing hooker anymore now that Croker is healthy, was always a stop gap at the position as Simpkin can't handle 80.
The first stint at hooker, then playing minutes at lock was all he was doing. So he was getting half arsed time
