I said before that he was humble as in the interview. Got told he did some good carries and made an impact on defense and he just said, 'got a bit lucky'.

Wasn't luck, was hard work, but he has something in those top two inches.

Something came up on an Insta real. Don’t ask me how I found it tho. Had some whanau with him as well. Pretty sure was in Aus as well

Even some of the young guys in the pathways teams are clued up! They don't sound like clowns Ala Reece Walsh etc etc. So professional in front the media and humble as.

Laban is set for a huge future in the Wahs jumper. No doubt is a reincarnation of SK.

Obviously knew what he wanted from an early age. He won MVP at national age group tournament when 14yrs be old. Looked like a unit then as well. Was also an age group softball rep and made Jnr Black Sox squads as well. Around superstar

I don’t know much about the juniors and maybe it’s not my business, but I just love minor details and back story

Laban mentioned his mum not with him and no one really too look up to and he did this by himself for himself

Just watched a reply and Laban stood head and shoulders above everyone. Looks nearly 5-10cm taller than Barnett and Wahs list him at 187cm. He dwarfed Souths Jacob Host whose listed at 1.9cm. Post match interview with Halligan (who 1.92cm) and he was a touched taller than him as well. Labans a unit and he’s still just 19yrs

Yep, taller than Latrell who is 1.93 m or 6’4, so perhaps he is 6’5 which is giving us a bit of nice size and a different body shape. I thought he was solid and in the process of getting physical. He was a little gassed which is to be expected but… I think there’s a lot of potential there.
