Give him the keys to the city for all I care. We have to do whatever it takes to make sure he stays here after Barney leaving. In time, he may come to even replace the house that Barney has built. There are many Aussie clubs who are severely lacking middles atm. I can see Dragons in particular trying to bring him back or Manly who barely have a serviceable forward pack this year.

Can see him as filling a void with Barnett leaving to a degree, probably not as much as in the leadership stakes though but hugely popular throughout the team judging by celebrations when he scored. I’ve been one of his harshest critics over the years he’s been here but so happy to be eating humble pie and have been hugely impressed

I love this bloke, remember when he would cause an obstruction penalty on every line he ran? Now look at him.

Other clubs can negotiate with him from end of this year, they probably should put some of Barnetts money his way.

Like, the stats are good, but he's doing this without breaks and without giving away penalties and dropping the ball in the v'landys no stoppages era.

Back when Gallen and shaun fensom and these guys were the stat merchants the game was much slower.

If these first two games are anything to go by, this could be the season where we see Ford become a true monster.

The only thing that was holding him back was the negative elements in his play like the ruck infringements, ptb errors etc. but they've been tidied up and given the huge minutes he's playing that is no mean feat.

I hope we can keep him round for a bit longer.

Amazing how he’s gone from one of the first players to get criticised to being so invaluable. No silly errors or penalties…. just rolling his sleeves up and doing the hard work. Nice to see him score his try last night. Totally deserved.
Was talking to my Aussie Dragons mate just yesterday and he was spewing the Dragons let him go.
I will have to call him today and see what he thinks after last night's game.
Nothing like stirring up the Aussies when you get the chance
