Early days but similar to Soni Luke in that regard. I would like to see Tafau get a bench spot, even as a one off, sooner rather than later to just prepare him for when Egan is unavailable
Auloa came on and had some form yesterday too I thought. I’m a real fan of Tafua, I’ll cop it but probably more so than Healey

Metcalf has proven he can own those moments and perhaps that’s how the club sees it? Not to say Boyd can’t be that player, but until we’re in that position and he grabs it we won’t know
Bulldogs got greedy and tried to fix something that wasn't broke, that's the lesson.

Metcalf ain't owning shit until he can get match fit and demand a position in first grade.
He'll do it but when, what position and which team are part of the season intrigue..

That obviously got untenable for Sexton to leave straight away or else Sexton was extremely disgruntled? What I liked at least in our regard was all 3 interacting after the game yesterday and think as long as the coaches are transparent that we’ll end up with what’s best for the club

Why can’t Metcalf just stay in nsw cup? Why does he have to be in the side at all if Boyd and CHT keep winning us games and are in good form?
I am thinking the same but FG would be much more likely to win the comp with a fit and firing Metcalf. That's no slight on Boyd whos doing great at present.
I have doubts if we ever see Metcalf back to his best unfortunately. Speed is his best attribute and speed is usually the first thing to be compromised with any type of leg injury
I never look too far ahead when it comes to having too many options in any team positions
Normally form, injury or suspensions take care of that.

League lounge had Vete and SJ having Metcalf with the highest ceiling. SJ lost his speed and turned into a great game manager so he’ll be instrumental to Metcalf

Loved this game from us yes it got a bit hairy for us at the end but I didn't feel we had lost the pulse of the game and after the 130 mins of pure effort and focus over the last 2 weeks a slight dip was coming and warranted titans have been doing well the last few weeks and definitely present a few challenges for most sides I'd say ali looked like a world beater and the hia was very unfortunate for our for and against.

He can absolutely stay in cup. But Webby is loyal to incumbency.

Barney came straight back to first grade.
Even Charnze after his poor efforts at centre then injury came back into first grade.
