General Finals Week 1 Ticketing Process

double what revenue? sky sports nz pay for the whole finals package in advance, it does not go up down or sideways depending on 1) the warriors making the finals, 2) anything else is on in their timeslot.

it's a drop in the bucket compared to the foxtel revenue who don't even have the rugby rights anymore and that and ch 9 are the broadcast partners they care about.

The gate takings at mt smart won't be affected as games not in auckland.
Yeah no revenues will be doubled - just the prospect of annoyed broadcasters

NZWarriors.com

the NRL didnt schedule any games to avoid the Lions v Wallabies tests.
They wont give a crap about some shitty rugby game in NZ
Their broadcasting partner will most certainly give a shit.

Warriors playoff game is a bit different context to regular season games.

How are the marketing team gonna generate the hype for this lol, we crawled our way to the finish line and have been awful at home
They won't need to. Finals game at Mt Smart is an easy sell.

Tickets for first home game next season might be a bit tougher if we get steam rolled though. Off season will dull people's memories I would think

It won't be tough. They'll just need to evoke memories of the last playoff game and how good that was.

Yeah, the reality is different this time around, but they will probably lean into a "one last ride" type of positioning.

This is like watching movie studios marketing Joker 2 and its trailers as the greatest sequel of all time and then people go in and 🤮🤮🤮 and you’ve lost them for the next decade 😂😮‍💨
