I notice that MGT is on the reserves. SO if RTS is not ready, we might be seeing him come in for a week at centre. So in either case, I feel Capewell shifts back to the second row and Niukore to the middle.
Run mid range speed and you'll never pull a hammy. Choose your sidesteps wisely instead of every time you touch the ball like Roger and you'll never injure an ankle. Maybe tie your laces half tight half loose and you'll never hurt a toe nail.
If someone goes down through injury in game I have too many combinations in my head that it feels like a 42 move chess strategy that I can't remember past move 2.
His pass to Clark vs Cowboys got Clark a good old fashioned hit from Nanai to turn the ball over. I would love his creativity to have seen the gap he could have run through behind Nanai who shot out. Other than that criticism I think he has great upside. So I'm still on the Sam wagon. Doing the Healey wheelies.
Interesting that apparently the bulldogs interest in Galvin is to play lock. A bit bigger than TMM but the playmaking ability is obviously the draw. Hard to say how long it will take Gannon to become accustomed to playing lock, but TMM fills so many positions and has a great playmaking ability. Think he’s the ideal 14
Just need one last push on the road in Aussie. Pretty amazing to think that we've played at Mt Smart once since round 3. If you include the Knights game in Christchurch, we've essentially been on the road for 4 straight weeks. It will be immense if we can come away from this 4 week period away from home with 4 wins. Boys are tired and fatigued for sure, but JFH back in the side this week will ensure that the boys are hungry for nothing less than another W this weekend. We are definitely due for a loss, but I'd rather it come next week. I like our track record of losing only to top 4 teams and beating the rest.
