Kinda trying to figure it out myself.

Hes 27 in career best form, playing for a top 4 side. 99% of players would want to leverage that and lock down a long term, high value contract which im pretty sure he would get.

Fair play to him, I really hope it works out and he rides off into the sunset as one of the all time great Warriors and the stand off for the Wahs first ever premiership

Maybe he just doesn't give a shit and likes to surf the waves of life.

Could be that he thought he was playing great footy and the club were happy to shuffle him back to reggies without much thought.

Maybe he sees all the stock coming through and thinks he doesn't want to get stuck in reggies if they switch up again while on a three year deal and then hes stuck here.

Either way, stoked to have my favourite current era Warrior here for at least another year.
