Yeah I think eye's are going to be on Jazz this coming season he's a true warrior at heart though,
It's just that injury he suffered he's never looked the same since.
He could be potentially blocking youngsters from climbing up keeping Jazz.

Recent discussion highlights Chanel Harris-Tavita's CHT improved performance this season, particularly his consistency at #6. BlackToko88 #195867 praised CHT's confidence and consistency, noting a significant turnaround from a difficult game the previous year. Tookey 2.Tookey 2.0 #210394, who admits to being a harsh critic in the past, expressed stoke for him, acknowledging CHT's development as a second option at half, citing improvements in his kicking, running, and defense. Furthermore, Tookey 2.Tookey 2.0 #210394 pointed out that CHT has achieved an impressive 17 try assists for the year, a noteworthy statistic for a Warriors half in the last decade and that he's been cutting down on poor plays.
The conversation also touched on CHT's potential future and current role within the team. Some users debated whether he should represent Samoa or New Zealand internationally, WahsaurusRex #195873 noting his superior stats compared to Brown of the Kiwis side, despite having fewer touches. However, WahsaurusRex #92 countered that CHT has already been part of the Samoan team previously. Others pondered whether speed training could enhance his running game, VB89 #210671 suggesting his playmaking background influences his pass-first mentality.
Earlier in the discussion, there was speculation about CHT's ideal position, ranging from halfback to a utility player similar to Dylan Walker or Sironen, capable of covering multiple positions. Some believed he could be groomed as a long-term replacement for Shaun Johnson at #7, while others saw him as a valuable utility player off the bench and are now pointing to a potential 10 year contract following a strong performance. There was also discussion about his past performance, whether CHT was being groomed for a half position and about his family, touching on his brother playing 1st XV at Kings College.

Even if this offends the Jazz people's, I'm happy to ship him out. His mistakes rate (of which I have no statistical analysis) are my only reasoning.
Does that read that he felt he made a mistake coming back to the Warriors with our half depth? But no regrets? He had other NRL options and spoke to his former coach Todd Payten and the Cowboys, among them.
Given the Warriors have playmakers Shaun Johnson, Luke Metcalf, Te Maire Martin and Ronald Volkman in their top 30 this season, there are no guarantees for Harris-Tavita.
Or regrets.
“Life is about making mistakes and learning from them and even if it wasn’t the right decision for me, I’m still willing to own that decision and I know that back then that was the best decision for me,” Harris-Tavita said.
It could read that way but I thought it was about walking away from the game. A lot of chatter was he was making a mistake at the time including on here. He also mentioned in there about players being honest with themselves.Does that read that he felt he made a mistake coming back to the Warriors with our half depth? But no regrets?
And does that mean he sees himself as a half still?
CHT makes the most sense to get first shot at 7 for me. I personally haven’t seen anything to suggest that Metcalf could get us around the field with his boot. CHT has a bit to learn about his kicking placement but his highlights reel shows one of his 40/20’s kicked from the 30 and goes out on the 10m line. He’s got distance, just needs accuracy and some more height on those bombs. This could workout as an absolute prescient signing with SJ getting hurt. CHT has actually played 7 for an extended period, unlike our other options. It's really between him and Metcalf and Metcalf hasn't proven anything at 7. If Metcalf can't do it, CHT will be a godsend. He's no SJ but he can kick goals just as well and can fill the role.
As long as he fronts up ready to go.
Unless they have him locked in at 6- then you’d be better off slipping metcalf into 7 for a week or two.

Decent poddy here with Chanel and Te Maire interviewed by Isaac John.
One interesting takeaway was that Chanel said that he hasn’t put a big hit on since Browny told him it’s a waste of effort (as a half). Fair enough I guess. (45:10 on the poddy to hear more).
Think that aggressiveness when used at the right time is still a valuable trait for him. With that 14/Hooker role this year, hopefully he can bring back that presence if and when needed.
At least we know with Webby in charge, we’ll be getting the right Chanel that’s needed for this team.
Lots more covered in this podcast about both the boys, so it’s worth checking out.
