I'm not so sure it is natural domination.

The new rules with the 6 agains are causing this to happen.

Our mobility helps us get on top.

Last year at Mt Smart was how I expected this game to go, happy it didn't
Yeah but you still have to be on the right side of the ledger to benefit.

I don't get what the changes are doing to the game, it goes both ways and if you lose the momentum you still have to defend and wrestle it back, which we've done twice in a row. I just know we don't lie all over their players and they seem to be all over ours all the time until we knock the door down literally.

I see some magic brewing here, the next 6 games define our season, i cant remember the last time we started like this, keep you heads on ya shoulders breathe, and lets put the next team to the sword. To leak 1 try in 80 minutes. Round 2.....

We aint no competition beaters . we are surely a threat tho, it makes a statement, come to our home ground and we will roll you.

Tannah’s been great the past two games

Amazing what confidence can do to a person

Really happy for the guy

He was shot last year

I wasn’t a fan. Didn’t think he had the clutch gene for first grade. I’ll eat humble cake. he’s proving me wrong

But let’s give the credit to the forwards. They need to dominate for him to do his thing

Yea i think tannah has stepped up to a new level here, the number 7 is his to loose, i dont think we could ask much more of him, missed a few goals., it happens but he is stll an excellent kicker. i think the way he has attacked the line and shaped up our attack is very good, nice and structured, the team look like they are working together as unit, which is pretty rare this early in the season, they look like they are talking to each other with defense, same as the NSW cup guys, Haizyn Mellars had a decent game but needs to put on some weight to get into that top 30 IMO

This. Great form by Boyd but it’s off the back of the most dominant pack in the game right now. Big ups to Boyd. Bigger respect to our pack 💪

We’re starting with a hiss and a roar but the test will be if we can keep this up until September. All teams have golden periods of form and I hope this can be maintained because if so… wow

Traditionally, we start crap. I can't remember winning round one and two except maybe 2002 and 2017???

Maybe the crowd just knew, this is our house, here is your viking clap, now fuck off.
I see a lot of people saying that this isn't sportsmanlike. It's stuff like this that makes sports so interesting and hopefully it is a start of a genuine rivalry between us and Canberra. Raiders (both fans and players) were absolute d***heads last time they won at MSS. They have absolutely no right to complain about it being reversed now.

watching back the game on watchnrl on my plane back home to the US. Fox sports did really send their commentary B team for our game (Ennis and the other broadcaster I have never heard of). It's a shame really given that our match was objectively game of the round form-wise. AJ stuff aside, Raiders and us were the two of the most impressive teams in rd 1. It deserved greater attention than it otherwise received.

Let's be clear, there's been no clutch required across these two games.

I'm not really seeing anything different from him. He is exactly what he's always been skill wise, a competent 1st grade halfback. That's why he kills reserve grade.

The difference to me is the platform we are laying. A competent halfback behind a dominant forward pack should always be able to play well, which he is.

Take the point on confidence though, he does look to have a spring in his step.
