I think AW is safe and is building the club, along with others, to be a development club looking for long term consistency. I think he has a lot of rope to play with and fair enough too. I don't think he is going to be the one to get us our first premiership but will be given a lot of credit for the building blocks put in place.

Wayne bennet will swoop in at the start of 2029 win us our maiden at the age of 101 then fuck a local Sheila and ruin the cap before leaving/dying

What if we don’t make finals. Cause we haven’t really strung back to back finals appearances under Webby yet. Just a question.

He's under no pressure at all. Numerous clubs would have him in a heartbeat if we got rid of him ... and we'd have who as a coach? There would be very few coaches under less pressure.

I mean when was the last Wahs coach turning unwanted Aussie players into Dally M leaders or SOO/Kangaroo reps? The higher ups just need to recognize his strategy weaknesses and provide people who can l help him level up

Yeap, Capewell, Boyd, Harper, Healy, AKP and lets not forget Jett Cleary.... JFH, Erin Clark - not aussies but no way they are coming here when Nathan Brown or Payten was in charge, and lets not forget dear Kearney before that.,.. plus we resigned Egan and Ford. RTS and CHT only returned because of Webster... both couldnt wait to get out of the door when Brown was in charge..

i think the only notable loss was AFB but we got Fish in return... Dylan Walker was a loss but it open a spot for Clark..... Montoya we let walk so RTS could take him place...

We have a lot to be grateful for and dont get me started on all the young guns coming up to compliment these imports... we are looking very impressive as a club..... its all thanks to Webby.

I would be locking AW down on a longer term deal if at all possible.

The environment he has created and maintained is something I've never seen at the club.

He also now has a stellar track record of improving players at various points in their careers.
Rookies are well managed in terms of expectations, game time, development. They don't sulk when they flip between NSW Cup and first grade.
Players who arrive at the club as average or fringe first graders seem to go up several gears - the likes of Ford, Barnett, Clarke, Boyd and Metcalf have all improved out of sight.

He is only locked in until end 2028...I would be talking to him right now about slapping an extra 5 years on that.
