I don't mind us always having a home game at magic round.
If the money we get from it is decent and Management have decided it is a good decision for us then i'll follow them on that.
Maybe it is the equivalent of funding the SG Ball travel/accommodation for a season, i dunno.

Broncos (and Dolphins) getting an away game for it is BS though

Wow we must be the most popular team at magic round, they probably picked us for that, and confident in beating us, though there is a reason why we're popular for the last 2 years lol like beating defending premiers or local QLD teams....be careful what you wish for Denver Broncos

Aside from the home/away thing I like the idea of playing the defending premiers on their home turf for magic round. Should be a great atmosphere, especially if we are going well at that point of the season.

Yup that's a juicy game to be at, never been to Magic Round before but that is an enticing one (aside from the whole Sunday timing - gonna have to be all tea and crumpets watching a movie on Saturday night, no way I wanna be hungover at the game, been there done that a couple of times before and it's no fun regardless of what's happening on field )

You probably could have got 35,000-40,000 at eden park if you had the broncos and walshy coming over and we were having a good year.

When we had the double header at Mt Smart in 2018, the tickets weren't included in our season membership.
Would be easy to do the same for Broncos Members

We get good support at Magic Round.

If this wasn't done randomly. They are probably thinking that having Warriors vs Broncos would mean a guaranteed full house. The Broncos' games over that weekend are often well attended for obvious reasons. Hopefully, we get a situation where the commentators are talking about it, seeming like a Warriors home game due to the support.

The Broncos always being an away side at Magic Round and the Warriors wanting a home game, it was likely to happen at some point. I doubt the Broncos would ever have a bye at Magic Round, so someone needs to play them.

Best to take it as a positive. We have knocked over some good sides at Magic Round. The last few years we have performed well on the round. This gives our guys the big match experience.

The ideal opponent for us at Magic Round is the Cowboys as it reduces the travel for one of the sides. I know we like having the home game at Magic Round. We should try and organise with the Cowboys to make it an annual thing alternating the home/away side. Means one club doesn't have to do the two stop flights.
