Is Barnett similar size to niukore? I know Barnett is small for his position compared to ex team mates from photos but he's still just as effective. Just seen a couple runs and both him and niukore ran similar lines according to my half drunk mind.

The league journalists were raving last week about the Knights crowd for their semi final in week 1. They did say Mt Smart will be special.

It will be interesting to see if this game gets the same sort of feedback.

Some of the comments last week were about the Knights having the pressure of expectation with the crowd behind them and it took a while to get into the game. That wasn't an issue for the Warriors this week. Man what a start to the game.

What really topped it off was when I watched the replay with the Fox commentators. Too gutless to call what was farking obvious.

It was flat, the referee saw it as ok...fark off it was forward!!!

Even Knights fans on their forum called the pass forward.

6. Rocco Berry​

Did a consistently reliable job on Newcastle's left edge defensively, which not many centres have been able to do through the second half of this season. Made 17 tackles and kept the edge in shape with some nice reads.

Turned plenty of good Shaun Johnson long kicks into great ones with his kick chases and then got over for a rare try with a determined effort.

Funny story, you know how he has three hundred plus Jerseys right? when I saw him at a Warriors function he was wearing a Jersey that looked at first glance Identical to a Bulldogs Jersey.

One of the speakers even said something about "that guy in a Bulldogs Jersey on Warriors night".

Of course Charlie is a bit naughty and a serious League expert on merchandise, that jumper he had on was a real deal Auckland Rugby League Jumper, the one the Bulldogs copied from Auckland when the Bulldogs came into existence after the Auckland team.

Just shows what a super Nerd Mt Wellington is, too cool for school, sitting there being teased by the ignorant wearing a Gangsta patch of the Warriors Ancestral side.

I trained myself to adapt to listening to Glen Lamar, case of needs must. I just figured stuff it, I am not going to let anything spoil Warriors home games.

It helps to remember he is a just another Rugby League fan who managed to land the job of a life time and that he must be enjoying the call this year, slowly but surely you get used to his voice and as a fan you are better for it.
