Amazing, I forgot how much we talk about our team in a finals week. SJ added about ten pages.

It ain’t over yet! So disappointed for SJ but I am fizzing at the first final since 2018 tomorrow. I am so excited for the team being able to come back from the covid year lows and earn their place against the absolute best team of the last 3 years. Who knows how it goes, maybe the ref he’s against us, maybe we roll them through the middle or miss a kicking option. We may get rolled or we may produce a miracle we’ll be talking about in years to come. But the fact remains, we’re there and I cannot wait. Go the warriors, up the wahs! Let’s hear that warriors chant in western Sydney to let the nrl know we’ve arrived.

It would be a little less nerve racking going in to this game without Johnson if Martin had more games under his belt. He's still only a few weeks back from a major injury.

If he had games under him and got into some form it would help. Back at the Cowboys he helped guide them around with Michael Morgan when Thurston out. So in form and with games under him he could step up.

A good chance for him to take more responsibility.

If we defend like we have this year we can hopefully get them nervous they aren't clicking the scoreboard over. If we win with a makeshift halves pairing it will likely be tight as I can't see us piling on points. Johnson is key to a lot of our plays.

Our kicking will also be a concern. Johnson has a big boot and has been the go to all year. Could be like the Aus vs NZ tests back in the day where we'd kick it 20 metres and their kickers would get 40. It might need to be shared around a bit so the Panthers don't know who to target. Maybe even a few from Egan out of dummy half.

Then there is the attacking kicks in the 20. That might be where Martin feels more comfortable.
