Thats why we play walker in the halves instead to keep our defensive structure intact.

Sure we might not have as good as attack, but defense wins games.

This is finals, not regular season, intensity will be huge and the work load massive. Volkman has not played enough NRL footy to cope, was quite noticeable last week against the dophins
And who will be kicking on our last set? Neither will get us much distance.

TMM, Egan, Walker or perhaps Pompey has a decent field kick on him?
TMM has an OK short kicking game but haven't seen him do much long kicking. Walker hasn't kicked much. If Egan does it who is giving the good service from the ruck allowing you kicker more time? If you use Pompey then is he switching to five-eighth on attack and back to his edge on D? Volkman is the closest we have to SJ and does have a good kicking game. He will get better service with Egan but very likely to be Rogered by the entire Panthers team.

After seeing how far the word of geepee could travel I'm definitely not ruling out smoke and mirrors if the word of one guy on a forum can go that far I'm guessing the club itself could sell it like water in a desert also first time wipping out the private jet wonder if it's so sj doesn't have to hobble round at the airport webby literally said the other day how happy he was the club can keep a secret all the good oil might just be people doing what they are asked to do keep it under wraps and even help sell it if ya have to just keep the cat in the bag end of the day knowing or not knowing just isn't really that important it's a team sport with or without him hope we get the Job done if not we get another Crack

Warriors: Shaun Johnson is believed to be in doubt to take on the Panthers after playing a restricted role at training this week due to a lower leg injury. Coach Andrew Webster downplayed any concern, stating that Johnson has done separate training "several times this year", but the NZ Herald reported that while the 32-year-old boarded the team flight to Sydney on Thursday, Johnson is in doubt to take the field, with the issue not believed to be related to the leg issue which has prevented him from kicking goals in recent weeks. Skipper Tohu Harris (back spasms) and interchange forward Jazz Tevaga (hamstring) meanwhile are both good to go.

I guess the Journos are more about clicks so
plus they don't know shite...back in the day the smart players used to buy them a few beers after the game, just to get themselves in front of the selectors, now they are just click baiters.

If so,

Walker in. Lussick to Interchange.
Jazz to rotate with Harris.
Siro also likely make way for bunty to rotate the props

Wouldn't mind Egan with a surprise kick from dummy half, chasing a 40/20 wouldnt be expected but not sure of his kicking abilities... but he was a half so has to have something

Since Volkman isn’t named in the 23, what happens?

If Volkman does end up playing, I back him and us to win solely on defence

Bit of a concern as both Walker and TMM aren’t recognised kickers.

Literally zero expectations on this game, pressure is all on panthers to win.
