Around 4. I don't think it will spread but very small degrees of it have always been here within the community (mainly the management of gurudwaras(temples)). Nothing big enough for anyone to stress about.
What Brian tamaki does makes them look like saints though.

And I believe the laws here are pretty robust that keep it in check.

And I guess it also comes down to what each of our definition of corruption is.
Getting kick backs on big contracts privately or with councils for work is illegal and could be technically considered corruption but I have heard stories it happens quite often here by all races including kiwis. You may see articles from time to time but have heard it happens more than reported at high management levels. Take that last one as a rumor as I have nothing to back that up.

I have no reference to international comparisons when it comes to corruption within this country.

However, I'd wonder if we just look for it more these days and are able to identify it easier.

My grandfather did a stint as the mayor of Napier, in the 80s and ran on policies around trying to stamp it out on a local level.

Public perception and the reality of a situation are often quite far apart.

You have to be the most insecure person, or narcissistic, to hear somebody talk about preserving their own culture and call it rascism.

Good on you for defending the marginalised from the African nation you’ve mentioned you derive from if I remember correctly? Interesting that the guy couldn’t list any real examples of white culture being erased other than the Super Bowl halftime show not in english. He mentions food but are people making him eat Mexican or Indian dishes? Such a fucken snowflake like the rest that seem to walk around with chests puffed out but cower at any pushback to the crap spouted. Says I’m not going to apologise for my view while not even able to provide a rational explanation as to why he came to that view
