Holy hecka ! Haven't heard that name in ages. Didn't he play Dracula or Frankenstein ? One of the two.Starring Boris Karloff, he was in all the best horrors.
Some greats, yeah he was Frankenstein and the mummy. Vincent Price a great in the horror world too. Couple of great draculas were Bela Lugosi and Christopher LeeHoly hecka ! Haven't heard that name in ages. Didn't he play Dracula or Frankenstein ? One of the two.
This was becoming an issue when I was in the UK late last year. Large undercurrent of disgust at how this has all been handled and reported (or not) on.
Is there a field of study less reliable than economists?

Not even about Trump for me. Just a continuation of my noticing that by and large, economists seem to be useless. Great at explaining what happened, hopeless at explaining what will.![]()
US inflation falls to 2.4% in January after Trump’s tariffs led to price fluctuations
Economists predicted a slight easing of inflation, although it’s unclear whether Fed will again cut interest rateswww.theguardian.com
Trump did play a big part in when the fluctuations were at their most severe but that’s great for them

I think a big issue is his volatility though and on any given day for whatever reason there’s another fluctuation from a decision he’s made. I would imagine their whole job would be predicting from the dataNot even about Trump for me. Just a continuation of my noticing that by and large, economists seem to be useless. Theres predicting volatility and then theres going so far out on a limb it breaks underneath you.I think a big issue is his volatility though and on any given day for whatever reason there’s another fluctuation from a decision he’s made. What's that you say Frank? A reductionist argument to prove your point?Theres predicting volatility and then theres going so far out on a limb it breaks underneath you.
Just because it’s come down doesn’t make its rise a possibility again at some point. Great for them they’ve got a bit of relief in their pockets but it’s a volatile game they’re playingTheres predicting volatility and then theres going so far out on a limb it breaks underneath you.
It does. The lower US dollar is what Trump was trying to achieve though.Guess it depends on your perspective
