Politics πŸ€‘ Donald Trump

Trump should use some of it to pay $83 mill USD he owes E Jean Carroll from the civil case.

His appeal that he should grant himself a presidential pardon has been throughout of the appeals court because it's from civil court proceedings... not a federal case. He's now going Supreme Court to have them try and overturn it.
Absolute grifter of the highest order and a pedophile and evil prick to boot. He used to be against cryptocurrency until people close to him told him he can filter it untraced through there

No, it couldn’t. It is already illegal to use federal funds for this, so it doesn’t factor in.
This makes zero logic. If California used the $13B on its own citizens healthcare, it would $13B less they required from federal Medicare.

If you say I can’t use my rent money to gamble but I use my food money to gamble and rent money on food, then it’s just semantics.

If anything, the opposite is true, since there are threats to lower the percentage offered as a way to punish states looking after illegal immigrants.
I don’t understand this. The only part can decipher is the punish states. California is a sanctuary state, in deliberae opposition to the federal govt, something that predates Trump.

California most definitely does not comply with federal laws on immigrants.

What does that mean in context? Is that relatively higher than others?
It means they owe over $38 trillion and that’s more than any country by some way. The next country owing the most is China at over $18-19 trillion and collectively make up half the world’s debt. That’s the conundrum for America, if they piss too many countries off who own bonds and debt, they can make life very tricky, but unfortunately it’ll be the average American paying with the deep depression they’ll go into

It works on a matching system. Every dollar spent on a US citizen more or less gets matched by the federal government. Every dollar spent on an undocumented immigrant does not get matched. It doesn’t factor into the federal contribution.

If you are arguing that the funds could be spent better at the state level, then have at it. However, I suspect that California has come to the realization (with the rest of the developed world) that it is less expensive over the long run to provide healthcare than to deprive people of it.

Are you deliberately not understanding something very simple? Every dollar spent on illegal immigrants is a dollar that can’t be spent on American citizens.

These aren’t magic dollarinos that can be spent twice.

So you concede that the federal contribution is totally irrelevant. Excellent.

Spending on β€œthe wall” was money that can’t be spent twice. Also the, what, 200 billion dollars on ICE? Also that monstrosity of a ballroom. How many days golfing? It goes on and on.

I’d be quite happy as a citizen for that money to go towards family health and happiness for potential future Americans. Californians seem to agree and consistently vote for it.
