The administration lies, we know that. Iβm interested the left think tank coming up with a stat like 27% are criminals and no one blinks an eye.27% of those detained. When according to the authorities that should be 100%.
Coward as always frank.
I can actually believe this. Illegal immigrants would want to fly under the radar as being caught means being kicked out.
And maybe they are mostly just good people looking for a better lifeI can actually believe this. Illegal immigrants would want to fly under the radar as being caught means being kicked out.
Unreasonable goals?
1 - all illegal immigrants are committing a crime. 100% of illegal immigrants are law breakers.
2 - Trump clearly had immigration as a main plank both times he was elected and has a clear mandate to be tough on illegal immigrants
3 - that doesnβt mean I support the way itβs all being done and those murdering people should be held to account.
Exactly. They're looking to shutdown the election![]()
Bondi outlines terms for Walz to βrestore the rule of lawβ in Minnesota after fatal shooting: Reports
Attorney General Pam Bondi on Saturday outlined terms to βrestore the rule of lawβ in Minnesota, just hours after a second person was fatally shot by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis. βYβ¦thehill.com
Minnesota apparently has somewhere around 100,000 immigrants, the next target Maine under operation catch of the day has somewhere around 5,000 immigrants apparently. Texas has somewhere around 1 million immigrants but coincidentally both cities with ice now and next are democrat governed cities. Pam bondi has apparently said to Minnesota governor Walz that ice will leave if they support ice and hand over some data, some of which includes voting information
Is this saying 23% of people that have overstayed have convictions?Itβs increasingly clear that the administration has set unreasonable goals for deportations, which have had at least two highly deleterious impacts. First, the drive for numbers has led agents to pursue cases involving babies and grandmothers, instead of the dangerous criminals Trump has promised to get off the streets. Last December, the CATO Institute reported that only 5% of the people ICE detained had convictions for violent crimes and 73% had no convictions at all. Second, because the agency is apparently counting arrests, not actual deportations, agents seem to be arresting first and only subsequently checking to see if the detainee is an American citizen or someone who is otherwise permitted to remain in the country.

Do they? I would say every individual makes their own informed decision on that. It might be an unlawful decision, but not necessarily immoral. They may be good people but good people go in the through the front door, not sneak in the backβ¦
Fundamentally you believe in open borders which is fine, the US has voted to have strict borders.
I agree with this.Do they? I would say every individual makes their own informed decision on that. It might be an unlawful decision, but not necessarily immoral.
From what I understand they are invaluable to the construction and agriculture industries especiallySo while illegal immigrants may be somewhat of a burden on an under-resourced welfare system, it is nowhere near the level that the average American would assume, and certainly not at the federal level.
Gotta stop relying on AI so much. Illegals can get access via NGOs and non profits that get rebated via those programs. Slimey political doublespeak as usualI know this doesnβt totally rebut what you are saying, but I will note that:

I guess if you close one eye and ignore enforcement costs, but even then I doubt it.So while illegal immigrants may be somewhat of a burden on an under-resourced welfare system, it is nowhere near the level that the average American would assume, and certainly not at the federal level.
