Politics πŸ€‘ Donald Trump

Not defending anything. Merely pointing out Trump was elected on a promise to tidy up the border and illegal immigration, he is and crime rates are dropping across the board.

Just in case some weren't aware.
Fox and Axios are both very biased fyi.

Obama deported more people than Trump and he did it without the random killings and cruelty. But bootlickers gonna lick, I suppose.

I would suggest that a great many voters chose Trump because they wanted cheaper eggs and gas. I guess we’ll find out at the midterms which of us is correct.

Which one of us is correct? About?

Will be interesting. There is obviously a lot of noise from the democrat side. Is that a reflection of all America or are the Republican side happy enough and silent. I think people voted on more than cheaper eggs and gas.

It will be interesting to see which the trend because after trump’s first term, Biden picked up the most votes in their history at over 81 million people. After Biden trump took a decent amount of votes at over 77 million to Harris’s 75 million. Being that independents barely factor over there, that’s somewhere a little less than half the country participating in the 2024 election. I think you’re right that there was some concern about their border, but it will be interesting to see how many of the country are onboard with how they are performing what he said he’d do and the invasions of countries were never on the table leading in

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned here - how's the strategy of everything in the "cloud" looking now?

Looking a bit shaky really, considering "cloud" is an optimistic euphemism for server farm owned by tech oligarchs in thrall to Trump

It was a convincing Trump win this last election time and he has pretty much done what he said he was going to do. Immigration, hitting the drug cartels, crime is down, economy seems to be going ok for them. Whether that translates into votes or like you say, people are unhappy with how he is going about things and the votes go against him.

Not sure 2 point something million more votes over Harris is that convincing considering the scale of people, but that’s the popular vote and obviously their system is far more complicated than that. Midterms will be interesting because he’s already said in the last few days he thinks he’s facing impeachment with a poor showing. I think it’s quite a shell shocked country at the moment because it’s all happening so fast and they don’t catch a breathe. Their economy is doing alright but job losses have them back in covid times in that regard. The oil seized from Venezuela has been said to be uninvestable regarding the $100billion he wants, so that could be a mistake to some degree? In late 2025 America has a population of over 340 million people compared to China’s 1.41 billion, America’s debt is over $38+trillion compared to China’s $18+trillion, together sharing more than half the world’s debt. America is already borrowing to stay the largest economic player and it’s only a matter of time until they’re displaced by China
