You’d have to be very careful with trump to be on top of all legalities because of his tendency to sue. Very effective way to make people consider what they say
Yeah sure, I get that there’s a chance he kicks up a stink & attempts to change the constitution. But the chances of the US becoming a dictatorship… incredibly remote despite a couple of voices on here suggesting it’s inevitable. There’s a couple of crazies contributing to this thread that need to be ignored.

After the insurrection of capital hill he never told his followers to cease of January 6 and his unwillingness to concede losing that election to this day, it seems extremely naive to not consider there’s a good chance of an attempt again. Some even pardoned in what was an attack on what he’s supposed to represent. Not feeling the nothing to see here sentiment that others seem to share

So if trump tries to get a third term but is unsuccessful who wins?
If he actually has to succeed in being president after the end of his second term then I agree, highly unlikely.
If he only has to clearly attempt to remain in power then that's not such a stretch to believe. But who wins in that case, coz he tried? And who decides how hard he has to try before we name a winner.
There is a lot more grey than black and white here. Maybe the forum gives them both new names unless they 100% agree who won and who lost? Then we all win, except George and Mildred, or whatever their new names are.

Not between his two terms he wasn't. And surely Kamala and Biden would use it if it was there to stop his second term once and for all.
Either he isn't in there and/or many Democrats are implicated in there.
So then you would have to assume that he isn't in them or if he is that it is nothing actionable. Or that the Dems are so implicated in them as well that they couldn't do anything politically with it.

By the same token, why not just release them when he’s told his followers he would if he’s not implicated in any way? I’ve got no doubt that someone like Bill Clinton is potentially implicated but I wouldn’t assume anything, easiest way to shut it down is just release them
