From what I've read & watched on YouTube. My understanding is Charlie was a Pro - Israel supporter. Didn't really care that Palestinian children die. Because it's part of war.

But now, The latest YouTube videos that have come out Is that Israel was part of his demise. Because he was Anti - Semitic?

How confusing is this shit. Especially for someone as clueless as me when it comes to this shit.

I would summarise him as a shock jock. I believe anyone that wants to be famous on social media (left or right) needs to be out there to get noticed saying things outside the normal to stand out from the crowd.

Hence NZ First, ACT, Greens and TPM saying outrageous stuff to their voter base.

Interesting future we’re going to have as I predict it will only get more and more outrageous and divisive.

You take is way off. Saying things other people don’t have the guts to say, doesn’t make you a “shock jock”.

Highlighting 13% of the population is committing 50% of the murders is just a fact that, should, but isn’t being addressed. If your first reaction to that is “he shouldn’t say that” and not “that’s a problem that needs to be fixed” then Charlie is not the problem here.

Yes sir. This is why I try to skip articles /videos that have to do with politics & war. I don't want my brain filled with hate & misinformation.

My youtube was filled with this Charlie Kirk news. So I went down the rabbit hole and almost got stuck in it. I know its good to be informed. I like being ignorant and pretend like the world is all flowers & butterflies.

It was interesting the number of people who simply tried to label him as a racist or a fascist or homophobic or whatever because they couldn't counter his argument or derail his beliefs. Yet when asked for an example of being racist or whatever else they called him, they couldn't provide it.

I think the fact he galvanized a lot of the youth who felt they no longer had a voice or place in an increasingly woke, left heading country (and world) caused the leftists a lot of concern and they hated him for it.

There is a video of charlie talking about Palestinian children dying is just part of war. And that he had no feelings about it. Definitely wasn't sad. Religion, Brings out the worst in everyone.

And as a non religious guy, Some of the video's I have seen of him & his attitude towards middle eastern people (Muslims) in particular. Was hella suss.
Freedom of Speech, I give him his dues. He stuck to his beliefs. And debated with anyone & everyone.

Not a fan. But sad that his life ended like it did.

Anyway, Up the wahs!!

Yes, there was a shift back right the last election . This isn't about just the last 12 months. There has been an increasing shift for years and certainly seemed to be coming to a head over the last government. The result was a group that felt they didn't have a voice or place. That resulted in a Trump win that the majority of the media didn't think could happen or understand why it happened. Culminating in what we are seeing now. A group that is fast becoming the minority in the US that resorted to labelling someone like Charlie Kirk without any evidence to support that label instead of engaging in debate and providing a better argument.

You might want to revue what happened in the US and other countries over the last 4-5 years, and more, and why we are seeing a return to the right.
