The separation of executive and judiciary is strongly enshrined in US law so it would take extraordinary measures like arresting judges, show trials for political enemies etc. Remains to be seen. You don't think he wants to be a dictator then?

If what you are saying is the case, Big tariffs = enemy status. Then all the countries who have put big Tariffs on America have viewed America as the enemy! While at the same time making money off of them. So would that justify his tariffs? Why give all this money in tariffs to countries who treat you like that? Some Americans think his new tariffs are great and he is treating other countries how they should be treated. Which seems fair...?

To be honest with all due respect I have zero interest in this topic, especially attempts to skew the point I made that Democrat politicians also like Tarrifs Vs specifically China.
The reason Pelosi made that speech is that it is popularist Grist for the mill, America good China bad.

For you to then try to skew that to high Tarifs among friends completely skews the issue.

America sits down and agrees to the Tariffs with friends.

I don’t know what Trump wants, outside of money and power, which he now has even more of. As per his extreme resiliency and inability to be stopped, I think anyone who claims to know what he wants, is a liar.

I am really just showing that often peoples views against what Trump is doing is just dribble. He gets somethings wrong and somethings right but there are some who drink up everything that is supposedly bad about him and don't think critically for themselves. I think if we can't say anything good and only bad about his decisions we probably have an unhealthy bias, same if we can only say good things without acknowledging the mistakes, we also need to have the ability to say I don't know. That is being fair and rationale, if all we do is trash him, or be his cheer leaders we are probably not being fair and honest. I often put up opposite view points to see reactions. When people start name calling, they are usually worked up or have TDS. Anyway, your response was ok. I just think we are leaguies, usually strong men, I think we should be intellectually honest and brave enough to speak truthfully and honestly. That's what the world needs, and we can be that.

Apparently, Trump did that because in the past some countries claim that goods were shipped from territories that do not have tariffs assigned. That way they avoid the high tariffs assigned to their countries. So he assigned tariffs to those strange places so they couldn't be used to avoid tariffs. It apparently happened in the past. Imagine China sent goods to the US via a territory to avoid tariffs. That is reported reason. Whether it's true or not who knows?
