If people like you went out and bought them yourselves, the problem would be solved!

Capacity is a nonsense figure when talking about wind and solar. Especially when capacity factors can be as low as 30%.
Wind and solar raw generation is used to obscure consumption. Pointless generating massive amounts of for a couple of hours if no one can use it.
China’s renewable buildout is to power its manufacturing sectors. They are still ~ 15% of residential energy being renewable. Because anything over that destabilises the grid. As Spain found out.
