That would then be the lazy part then wouldn’t it?

Bulk meal preparation is cheaper and better quality than takeaways. Cost per portion isn’t some dark art.
Not necessarily. Takes a bit of homework to source where all the food is from that’s consumed. For instance some are concerned about growth hormones that go into some chickens that the average consumer isn’t privy to such information

My brother in Christ we have the entirety of mankind’s knowledge available to each and everyone of us 24/7.

We carry more civilisation knowledge in our pockets via our phones than existed on the planet until 500 years ago.

I think most of us now understand such things as sugar and things are bad but the people who fill us with the information don’t help at times either. In my lifetime I can recall backwards and forwards views around things like eggs or coffee that at one point are bad for you and the next are being told it’s fine. I’ve seen it said that we only really know about 10% of the human body and all to do with it, and I’d agree if we even know that much. Moderation seems like it goes a long way in my eyes

I knew we were done for when the lead news item on the night we were to come out of lockdown was the queues waiting at the Macca's drive through for midnight.

ANZ have joined the other two banks and dropped their interest rates ahead of the OCR announcement next week, but, unlike BNZ and Co-operative Bank, ANZ have dropped all their fixed rates. Talk from a couple of Mortgage brokers on NewsTalk today was that ASB and Westpac will match BNZ and ANZ when pushed... even though they've made no "official" drops yet.

In other words, there's bargain interest rates to be had if you push your bank hard enough.

Again, from the mortgage brokers, don't be afraid to ask your bank if they're offering cashbacks to existing customers who refix with them instead of going elsewhere. You'll be surprised what the banks will offer to keep your business as it's quite competitive out there as banks are trying to lure customers away from other banks.

ribeye
mashed potatoes
pan fried mushrooms
blackened brocolini

$15-$25 made fresh every night. Maccas could never
You ain't getting that little 4 course meal for $15 to $25 in Auckland with the way food costs are heading.

and now do a meal plan for a week for when you're two parents working 40 hours a week of a low wage, family of 5 -
with all your living costs are rising exponentially & very quickly eating into your disposable income.

It's the biggest cop out to say the issue is Low IQ and Laziness - while ignoring the other factors.
You'd probably even bitch and moan about government programs to try and address the topic.

That’s a single course numpty. Not dodging the low IQ takes.

It’s $17-$28NZD. Pretty confident I could.

Lool my mother did my entire childhood.

Always need the government to come save you.

Yes numpty. A single course but you’re not feeding a family of 5 ribeye for 17 - 28 or that quality of meal for 7 days when you may only have $150 or less left over a week.

Who is the numpty whose meal cost has just gone up?

Congratulations on being born to a good mum who could instill that in you, many lower socio economic children aren’t so arent taught that numpty - which highlights my point numpty.

Imagine being the kind of numpty that couldnt comprehend the government has the ability to pull levers to raise tge populations well being & raise social outcomes.

Maybe we should just make kids listen to david goggins podcasts, that’ll fix them. Numpty

Found it pretty ironic that Winnie is complaining about protestors outside his home. Not long ago he was trying for political gain and meeting with the Wellington protestors and siding with them.
They were harassing locals going about their everyday activities and kids attending school. Not a lot of difference except it's in his backyard

Don’t know about that, the Wellington protests were a public protest at a public place.

Protestors outside MP’s private homes (from any party) is no different to idiots personally targeting Jacinda Ardern. Stalking behaviour!

On the Wellington protest spilling out, what’s the difference to Palestine protestors shutting down the harbour bridge?

The Wellington protestors disrupted the public going about their daily activities.
Like running their business and getting to and from school work etc. You complained during covid about how you couldn't access your place of work.
Sure it's not your house but still a disruption . Winston stood along side with the protestors for his own agenda.
Cake and eating it comes to mind šŸ˜‹
