Gotta hand it to him, that's an impressive return even if we are being enslaved in a digital prison.
A famous story:

Hunters wanted to catch wild pigs living in the forest. They knew the pigs were clever and valued their freedom, so they couldn’t just build a pen and force them in.

Instead, they began leaving free corn in a clearing. At first the pigs were suspicious, but hunger won out, and they ate. Day after day the hunters returned with more corn.

Once the pigs got used to the free food, the hunters quietly began building a fence, one section at a time. The pigs didn’t notice, or didn’t care, because the corn was always there.

Eventually, the hunters completed the fence and closed the gate. By then, the pigs had grown dependent on the corn and didn’t resist. They had traded their freedom for comfort —and once it was gone, they couldn’t get it back.

The lessons: freedom is often lost gradually, not suddenly.

Makes you think mate. I must remember that one for the next dinner party I go to.

Doesn't matter who caused it. This is a major problem for industry in NZ.

When we have large companies having to shut down due to high electricity prices we certainly have a problem.

The pulp and paper industry is the case in point. These companies use large amounts of power and even though the majority have their own Co-Gen plants, they still can't make it work.

No wonder log exporting is such a big business, difficult to add any value to the product under these circumstances

Is Hipkins as bad as Luxon? Luxon refused to say whether he would have sacked Andrew Bayly if Bayly hadn't resigned after calling a winery staff member a loser.... and now Hipkins doesn't think that this is racist.... can't upset a potential coalition partner, can we Chippy!!!

Blows my mind that the TPM moron was able to deduce everyone's whakapapa based on their appearance
