I do think 6 months from the election it will be all on and they will all identify issues to differentiate themselves and manufacture bust ups (WWF style).
But image Labour, Greens and Māori Party. Dysfunction already without the added responsibility of leadership.

What I’ve noticed is our friend @wizard of Tauranga whenever he “whitewashes” any “issue” arising in the Government (post 18023 above an example) can’t help himself but reference a potential future coalition government as being worse.
I guess he has learnt from Luxon who 18 months after having control still blames the previous Govt for everything negative that occurs.

his twin sisters wife is one of those mongs that keep gluing themselves to the motorway in the name of only MT8 and co knows who, but i think he’s probably the perfect mayor for wellington.
he’s kind, he’s considered, he compassionate. he’s business minded. he seems to have a pretty good long term view of what the city needs.
hint; (it’s more than bike lanes over crumbling infrastructure and a paved wind tunnel that will do nothing but bankrupt the CBD) but as long as it has your name on it
our current mayor is the worst in memory. so anything except maybe ray chung is good, but i think in all honesty andrew little is a perfect fit.

We dodged one down here in the land of the free by not voting Irish Debbie onto council in the last two elections. Is she an elected Member of parliament or another list grifter. Couldn't make the grade in an election here and they were STVWhat is it about Local body elections

Frankly @Rick O’Shay i’m too old to worry about it.
If it is accepted that the current 3 headed dog is working together ok then I see no reason why a different dog can’t do so as well!
I’m the type who accepts whatever the majority determine each three years and then watches from the sidelines while tossing a few hand grenades into forums such as this to see how the shrapnel falls.
Having said all that I’m more inclined to the liberal side than the conservative side of the political pendulum
